Mindfulness Awareness

A LITTLE SOMETHING FROM THE MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEKEND

The Mental Health Awareness Weekend at Carter Road Bandra, begins tomorrow, and we are looking forward to it!

For today, we decided to share with all of you a little memento that we’re planning to give away to those whom we meet tomorrow.

But first, some background about the memento…

Those of you who have been following our posts do know by now that we’re all huge fans of ‘mindfulness‘ – a simple concept that works many wonders 🙂

Simply being aware of where the mind is and bringing it back to the present uncovers a world of mental rest that remains hidden otherwise. It’s like connecting to the calmer space within, that voice that says – ‘this too shall pass’. It’s also like being able to see the river bed; instead of just the gurgling currents.

However, in your daily lives, you might remain caught up with your responsibilities. You might forget to pause, breathe and connect with the here and now.

Like we read somewhere – mindfulness is simple. The only tricky thing is remembering to be mindful 🙂

So, we decided that there was no better memento to give than a reminder to be mindful.

Take a look at what we plan to give out. Hope you like it!

be mindful

Wish us good luck for the weekend! And do join in!

We’ll be back on Monday to share our experiences at the Mental Health Awareness Weekend with you 🙂
