Anusha BM: Psychologist & Counselor

Therapeutic Philosophy
I view human beings as inherently oriented towards connection, authenticity and healing. Therapy is a space to re-connect with this inner intelligence rather than fix what is.
Relational connection and safety are of utmost importance and non-negotiable. Therapy, for me, is a collaborative process and healing unfolds within a relationship that is attuned, respectful, and grounded in trust.
My approach is grounded in the understanding of interconnectedness—between body and mind, self and others, past and present, inner and outer worlds.
I hold the practice of looking inward as a pathway for growth and transformation, supporting you to turn toward your inner experiences with curiosity and compassion.
I place deep value on the virtue of slowing down, recognizing it as essential for us, as organisms, to meet our-selves with awareness and presence.
I see presence as the core transformative force—one that allows us to move beyond habitual patterns and access deeper truth, regulation, and aliveness.
Therapy Fees: INR 3360/- (inclusive of 18% GST) or 55 USD to 70 USD ( for International clients)
Counseling and Therapy Experience
I work with adolescents and adults, and bring over 7 years of experience in therapeutic and healing spaces.
I support individuals experiencing mental concerns, including fogginess, intrusive thoughts, overthinking, difficulty making decisions, low self-esteem, a constant sense of pressure, or feeling overwhelmed by life.
I work with emotional concerns such as fear, anxiety, grief, anger, shame, emotional numbness, emotional overwhelm, feeling trapped, or difficulty coping with and moving through emotional waves.
I support clients with relational and behavioural concerns, including addictions, avoidances, fixations, difficulty with boundaries, experiences of neglect or abuse, or longing for change without knowing how to create it.
I work with somatic concerns, including chronic tension, unexplained aches, overwhelming bodily sensations, numbness or feeling disconnected from the body.
I also hold space for spiritual and existential concerns, such as a desire to feel more alive and at home in oneself, to live more authentically, or a sense that something is missing and a longing for deeper meaning.
Therapeutic Community Work
- I have worked with middle and high school students, offering an approachable and safe presence that made it easier for them to express themselves. I facilitated life skills sessions through interactive discussions, and playful activities.
- I have been part of suicide awareness initiatives, using creative mediums such as theatre and music to reduce stigma, and encourage collective reflection.
- I have worked with young adults, supporting them in navigating academic pressures, relational challenges, and social demands.
- I have facilitated group spaces at wellness festivals, guiding participants through experiential practices designed to support expression, reflection, and intentional manifestation.
- I view everyday conversations with friends, family, and community as meaningful work. When engaged with awareness and presence, these interactions become spaces of insight, connection, and subtle collective consciousness-shifting.
