Simran Sharma – Counsellor and Psychologist

Simran works in the space of therapy with the belief that people already possess the resources necessary to overcome problems and therapy is merely a guiding process helping people regain control of the compass of their lives. She works to provide a non-judgmental environment to help clients become more self aware and make a difference in their lives. Therapy works wonders when the client is able to work in alliance with the therapist in a safe space to reach their personal goals, Simran aims to provide just that.


  • She works with Mindfulness-based Cognitive-behavior Therapy.
  • She has worked as a counselor at Alipore’s Correctional Home for Women, Kolkata where she has worked closely with inmates on issues related to trauma, identity crisis and rehabilitation. 
  • She believes therapy helps to gain control of one’s own resources to achieve realistic and desired goals in both personal and professional lives.
  • She has previously done her observership at Max Hospital, Saket and IHBAS, New Delhi.
  • She has also worked at an NGO in Kolkata for children with mental retardation and HIV.


  • Simran has completed her graduation (with honors) in Applied Psychology from Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences, Noida. She pursued her Masters in Industrial Psychology from Mithibai College, Mumbai. 
  • She is currently pursuing her Counselling Psychology Diploma from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and also undergoing training for Mindfulness based Psychotherapy.
